Starting a new wellbeing journey can be daunting, so here are some common questions answered.

Can I take notes during the sessions?

Yes, you absolutely can! You're more than welcome to bring a notebook or diary to jot things down during our session. Or simply use your phone if that's easier.

How long do 1:1 sessions last?

Most sessions are typically 1 hour long. However, if we’re exploring something more intense or emotionally demanding, I may occasionally suggest a longer 2-hour session. This will give us the space to go deeper at a gentler pace, without feeling rushed. It will also allow us time at the end for grounding and relaxation, so you can leave feeling more settled and supported as you return to your day.

What will happen during our first 1:1 session?

In our first session together, we will lay the foundations of a supportive and collaborative relationship. Everything we discuss will always be strictly confidential. I’ll begin by learning a little about you e.g. your story, your current challenges, and what brought you here. You’ll also have space to ask any questions about the process and what your well-being journey might look like.

Together, we will start exploring your goals and expectations, and begin crafting a personalised roadmap to guide our work. This roadmap will remain flexible and responsive, evolving alongside you to ensure it continues to meet your needs as they grow and change.

All sessions are LGBTQ+ friendly.

How do you go about payment?

I take pre-payment for all sessions via online banking or transfer. I will send you my details before we start our work together.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Life has its ups and downs, so if something comes up and you can’t make a session there’s no need to worry, I completely understand. Just send me a message as soon as you can, and we will reschedule for a time that works better for you.

I wish to pause/end our 1:1 sessions, what happens now?

If you ever feel that it’s the right time to pause or end our sessions, that’s absolutely okay. You can let me know in person or by message—whatever feels most comfortable. Any notes or resources we’ve created together are yours to keep, so I will pass them over in case you ever want to revisit them. You are welcome to reach out again when, and if it feels right.
